Today is a phenomenal day in the foreclosure wars. On two fronts, we’ve had major victories. Importantly, the Florida Supreme Court affirmed that Florida Courts must remain open, fair and accessible to all Floridians. Our free and dedicated press from the state and across the country have swarmed to the defense of real everyday people and our courts and judges have listened.
Next, although the banks and their power mongers made an attempt to resurrect the failed Interstate Notary Act, that attempted revision was narrowly defeated.
Please read the attached memos from the Florida Supreme Court and Florida Press carefully, and let’s take time to be grateful that we do (for now) still live in the country where our voices matter.
