The Great Foreclosure Purge of 2013 is well under way with courts all across Florida clearing pending foreclosure cases at unprecedented rates.  Using money that was provided to the court system directly from the banks under the terms of the National Mortgage Settlement as a direct result of their ongoing criminal enterprises violating hoards of state and federal laws…blah, blah, blah, no one cares about that anymore.

CONSUMERS, JUDGES, LAWYERS, IN FACT THE WHOLE COUNTRY HAS MOVED PAST FORECLOSURE FRAUD

No sense even talking about Robosigning or forgery or fraud or perjury….it doesn’t matter anymore…because all of this is  being flushed down the proverbial judicial toilet.  You know the old fable that every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings?  Well, every time a foreclosure judgement is entered, the toilet flushes and down the drain goes all the evidence of the ongoing criminal enterprises.

As I’ve been carefully examining the judgments that are being entered in the midst of the purge, the thing that is most compelling by far is the vast number of foreclosure cases that go through the system completely undefended.  Right now foreclosure cases filed in 2007-2010 are being cleared more quickly than ever before…those cases had the highest levels of real big problems.  Fraud, forgery, lies, crimes.  But if no defendant and no attorney is there to resist that case, to fight bank perjury, to provide some push back…whatever is there to be done?

NOTHING IS WORSE THAN STANDING IN COURT AND SEEING COMPLETELY DEFENDABLE CASES GET WALKED THROUGH THE SYSTEM

This frustration is particularly acute in places like Pinellas County, where Foreclosure Court is very much real court.  Real court in the sense that the judges and staff bend over backwards to make sure that all defendants are granted the highest values of due process, respect and accommodation.  Now certainly a few folks here or there might complain about this that or the other thing, but I challenge anyone…defense attorney, plaintiff’s attorney, pro-se litigant to present any real evidence that rights weren’t protected and that Due Process was not delivered with very real respect and appreciation for all the foundation of our nation’s entire democracy.  That’s not to say things are perfect…but I know with absolute certainty that no person can credibly claim that if real complaints were presented….that those concerns were not considered very seriously by the very responsive members of the judicial branch that live, work and serve in this community.

People are tired , this has been going on for over 5 years ,, and the wearing down of the middle class has been ongoing for 30 years … I only know 2 people out of my group of friends that could afford an attorney … I couldn’t right now if I didn’t already have a great one on my team.
