Let’s be very direct and clear about what’s happened here…The banks that crashed this world’s economy in 2008 then conspired with the United States Government to steal from our children and grandchildren in order to mask and cover up their crimes maintain such a flawed, fraudulent and in some cases criminal enterprise, that they cannot succeed in obtaining foreclosure judgments unless they have a court system that is willing to conspire with them to overlook all their wrongdoing and flawed practices.
Just today I sat in a courtroom with 10 other foreclosure defense attorneys from all over the state. We watched a “trial” that was a farce and a desecration of the legal process, presided over by a judge who overruled nearly every single defense objection, who alerted the Plaintiff to evidence they missed and who showed blatant and outright hostility to the defense attorneys who were assembled in the courtroom. He clearly had utter disdain for the foreclosure defense attorneys, but was quite comfortable granting whatever the foreclosure plaintiffs wanted. The plaintiff rested their case and omitted a major element….not to worry though, the judge allowed the plaintiff to re-open their case and plug up their holes…..
The larger point about what’s happened in that courtroom, and in courtrooms all across this country….
THE BANKS SCREWED UP, THEY COMMITTED CRIMES, BROKE LAWS AND FAILED BASIC BUSINESS PRACTICES…
EVERY TIME A JUDGE IGNORES THE LAW, THE RULES OF EVIDENCE OR PROCEDURE…HE REWARDS THEM FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO ALL OF US….
