It’s not exactly an avalanche yet….but I am seeing a steady stream of modifications that include DRAMATIC principal reductions in mortgages.
More and more the reductions we’re seeing are very meaningful, very, very meaningful indeed.

Well is their any guarantee that they (GMAC) are going to be able to sign a release of mortgage and leave them with marketable title?
So…the lender has no recourse and no defense. Prove that and a Mod starts to look good. I will keep my fingers crossed that many more folks get the defense they deserve!
If this new approach can really escalate & take off it might actually be able to turn things around a bit….but I think it still comes back to the issue of JUSTICE for those who implemented this plan to bring us to our knees in the first place…starting way back in 2000 or so…I find it vaguely disturbing that this is happening after the MILLIONS of illegal foreclosures that have occurred that we know of and probably the millions of ones that have not begun to be uncovered yet…what about all those who felt they had no option but to self -evict & abandon their homes, what about those who have committed suicide? Where is the justice for those people, or the people who have lost everything for years now because of the depression in the economy caused by the banksters & their ilk…including those in government? I believe this may just be a smattering of good publicity to redirect our attention away from those who we should be going after right now, an overt method of enough ‘relief’ to make us all believe that it was just a ‘mis-managed’ problem, that robo-signing wasn’t REALLY fraud…etc….a view that deludes the public into thinking that the government is NOW going to come through for them as some kind of HEROIC effort to save the middle class…what a load of BS!!! they just want to save their own conniving hides from people who are finally getting fed up enough to rise up…I’ll wait & see..I am willing to fight for my home, but I am even more willing to fight for justice for those who have stolen everything from America, including our rights, our liberty, our property and our hope.
What about those who lost their homes and all personal property inside? The Bank refused to accept a full payment regardless of our big equity which was higher than the debt. We offered an approved Reverse Mortgage, but JPM refused. Their reply was that they didn’t have to accept any offer. The offer was for $160,000 to cover the mortgage due for $138,000, but they decided to throw us out to the street without disallowing us from taking any single item of our personal property. Finally, the Banksters sold the house for $79,000! !
There was a local news report the other day that stated millions of the elderly have lost their homes because of non payment of taxes. BEWARE…..BECAUSE THAT IS THE NEXT SHOE TO DROP….. All Americans need a chance to recover from this bankster plunder but we can’t…… because the robbery is ongoing and getting worse everyday. We need at least a 5 year tax revolt to catch up because they are taxing US out of existence …EVERYTHING IS A TAX……from gasoline to utility bills because these crooks have hijacked everything that WE THE PEOPLE HOLD LEGAL TITLE TO….BY FRAUDULENT INVESTING…..AKA….GLOBALIZATION.
