As most of you know, I campaigned for, and earned the right to appear on this year’s ballot as a candidate for Florida House of Representatives. I want to thank each and every one of you that sent in petitions that helped me to qualify for this seat. Several very important personal changes in my life kept me from devoting the time and energy necessary to campaign properly. I quite frankly wanted to spend every moment of my life with my beautiful wife and amazing new baby boy. I realized you don’t get a do over on this precious time in your family’s life.
But in between bottle feedings and diapers, I’ve kept a very close watch on this important race. And so as we sit here today with just a few precious days left before the final votes are cast on November 6, 2012, the race is a very close one between Dwight Dudley and Frank Farkas.
I have personally been most impressed with the campaign Dwight Dudley has been running. As I followed his Facebook page and his website, I see a guy that I like and, most importantly, I see a hard working member of this community who I believe is dedicated to serving the interests of the district.
At a recent debate, I had the opportunity to talk at length with Dwight. As we talked and as he really pushed me on the issues that were most important to him, I came to understand that this he is a guy we need working for us in Tallahassee. We simply can no longer let corporations and the oversized role of special interests dominate Florida’s state legislature.
With all that in mind, I am asking each and every one of you to vote for Dwight Dudley in the Florida House of Representatives District 68 race.
Please view his websites, consider his background, then share your support with all your friends and family.
This is not the end of my campaign….it’s just the beginning in fact. This race if very close, but I’m confident Dudley can pull this out and win this seat. And when he does I will be following Dudley’s every move in Tallahassee. Every vote. Every speech. Everything he does. I’m confident Dwight will serve the interest of this district and of the voters and consumers that sent him up there!
why did you run then if you knew you were with child?
Sorry to read you left the race Matt, but I understand your reasons. Quite frankly I think we are passed the tipping point with politics and economics. What are your thoughts on how to manage the coming collapse? What comes after the fall?
