The US Government does not exist to serve the interests of the American people anymore than we went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan to promote peace, stability and democracy. Those kind of nationalistic delusions are laughable today. The US went to war to serve the interests of the corporations who seized control and installed their shadow CEO’s…people like Cheney, Bush, Obama Geitner, Dimon, Moyniahan, Paulson and Blankfein.
The halls of US power, trickling down to state governments are slithering dens of abject corruption and corporatism. And there is no more blatant example of this than Florida, the Corporate State. Florida’s new foreclosure law will take effect July 1 and Florida courts will continue their mad massacre of pushing families into the street. When this is what our American justice system has become, should we not all be fearful?

And what does the world see of the United States? Well, we must all understand that when the US has turned its back on justice and due process and the rule of law for its own people, they have blatantly abandoned those wasted and useless old concepts across the globe. And I’m not talking about our enemies…I’m talking about our friends and trading partners who will soon realize that with friends like the US fascist state, they are better off competing with far more honorable trading partners….
The revelation by Snowden that the US Government is spying on our economic trading partners and allies…like Germany and France…is far more damaging and destabilizing than the revelation that the US is spying on its own citizens. This kind of spying is not about domestic security, it is Fascism in its most pure sense…the government serving the interests of corporations like Monsanto…helping them get an unfair advantage in the marketplace. And now apparently, our allies should be as distrustful of the Fascist Corporate Amerikan State as the Amerikan people.
And rather than focusing on the damage Snowden did by revealing the existence of this program, where is the conversation about going after the traitors to the American people who have turned America against her own people and against our allies?
