If the American people would wake up, they would realize that our elections are fixed and that the political parties are fraudulent enterprises, designed to pit neighbors against neighbors, friend against friend in order to present the illusion of choice. A careful examination of the finances of both parties shows that they are owned by corporations, and are thus beholden to corporate interests…not voters.
The first question for any candidate is, “How much money can you raise?” This has become the single most important indicator of a candidates success. But if your constituency is the struggling American people, shouldn’t you have a real hard time raising money? And if you are able to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars…especially when you raise that money from corporations and monied interests…doesn’t that mean that you are working for them and not the American people?
The parties and the candidates will fight wars to keep themselves in power, and sadly the American people will be compelled by their propaganda, their glossy mailings and mean and clever commercials…we are all like robots now….
