They threw live explosives into   a crowd of unarmed citizens.

In an absolutely terrifying scene, watch this video….played in slow motion that shows a cop throwing an explosive device into a crowd of people who came to the aid of an injured man

Why is it that you will not find this footage on United States Network Television?

Take a look at the streets, they are a War Zone.

And now learn that Scott Olsen, a United States Marine was critically wounded when he was fired upon by Oakland Police.

Do you hear that Marines? Do you hear what they did to your own?

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) “” The clash between Oakland police and Occupy Wall Street protesters left a Marine veteran who completed two Iraq tours in critical condition Wednesday after he was struck by a police projectile, a veterans’ group said.

Scott Olsen, 24, suffered a fractured skull Tuesday as he marched with other protesters toward City Hall, said Dottie Guy, of the Iraq Veterans Against the War. The demonstrators had been making an attempt to re-establish a presence in the area of a disbanded protesters’ camp when they were met by police officers in riot gear.

Several small skirmishes broke out and officers cleared the area by firing tear gas.

It’s not known exactly what type of object struck Olsen, currently a systems network administrator in Daly City, or whether he’ll need surgery, Guy said.

“It’s still too early to tell,” Guy said. “We’re hoping for the best.”

Curt Olsen, a spokesman for Highland Hospital in Oakland, confirmed that the veteran was in critical condition but could not release any more information.

Law enforcement personnel are there to protect lives and properties from the destruction of inspired malcontents, one of the reasons I support my local police department is because of the proffesional way in which they when about their jobs during the meeting conductedv in Miami by the group of Eigth and how they prevented the unnecessary destruction created by those anarquist that professed to be helping by figthing the system for that matter I want ask anyone that reads this to help support their local police department by donating money to buy rubber bullets, nigth sticks, handcuffs and assorted protective equipment to assist in their duties as for those that are injured during this unnecessary revolts they should be charged double in the hospitals they’re taken to due to the burdening of the system.

  • speakout says:

Rafael; Are you insane? Our tax dollars go to fund the police departments and the police are supposed to be PEACE officers. They have been turned into oppressors of the people, due to their requirements to bring in revenue to feed the beast. The bankster JP MOrgan gave $4.5 million to NYPD, but didn’t have any money for the people losing their homes protesting their corruption! The people have a right to protest. Our country is a mess, because of the corruption in our government and the lack of action to fix the problems to help the people through this financial crises that was caused by the BANKSTERS! Which is what the people are protesting. We asked, pleaded, requested our elected officials to do something, and here we are 3 years later, and it has only gotten worse, while the banksters show record profits. Yes, something is seriously wrong with this picture. We should not even have to protest. But due to the FAILURE of our government to protect us from the DOMESTIC enemy, the private banking cartel that has taken over our country, the people have finally woken up to the nightmare we face. The PEOPLE have the right to protest and it is our DUTY to stand up to corruption, no matter where it has infiltrated our society. Don’t you even dare to criticize a marine who offered his life to defend our freedoms oversees, to also have the right to defend them here at home! Shame on you. The police work for US!

i find the ignorance of the occupy movement disturbing. most of them are upper middle class yet they act like martyers.if they dont like tear gas go home. if you dont like the USA find another the way the grass IS NOT GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE!!!!!!!!

    • These people are protesting the gross fraud and abuses that have created a systemically flawed economy and society….this is the foundation of our democracy.

      • KMR says:

Mr. Weidner, when will you be filing lawsuit(s) on behalf of the protestors and what will your legal fee(s), or percentage of the settlement be ? just wondering ….

Is not about the USA, is about the international banking sistem, is about moving all our factories to China, is about China owning our national debt, the USA is not producing we are buyers now.G.E. made a profit (the key word is profit not gross ) of 13 billion dollars last year 0 on taxes, American? and British? oil companies have been breaking profit records for the last 8 years.

I marched in Occupy Tampa. I am not part of the middle class, and live hand to mouth. I have two undergraduate degrees and formerly was a small business owner, until I suffered head trauma in a street mugging and became disabled. I would go to another country if I was younger and financially able. Years ago I traveled and found the grass is greener elsewhere. New Zealand, Australia, Costa Rica, Europe, and Scandinavia, to name a few.

Your angry post is devoid of facts, and just makes accusations. You have a right to be angry at what our country has become, a dictatorship, by the corporations, for the corporations. The president, whether it is Obama or a Republican, is merely a proxy for the corporate dictator.

Many older people marched at Occupy Tampa when I did October 6th. You can see their photos here

Our corporate dictators undermine our economy with casino-like financial deals, and wreak havoc around the world with a US Military Empire that wastes billions of your tax dollars, kills our soldiers, kills hundreds of thousands of people, many of whom are civilians, and creates instability and resentment against America.

I urge you to investigate the facts and join us in the Occupy Movement.

It does not matter if you agree or diagree they have a right to protest. That what we were suppose to be fighting for in Iraq. a little thing called freedom.Congress is the blame for the unrest in American to day . They refuse to tax the rich and stop the foreign give away policy wich we can’t afford. They instead blame our retirement plan , which they have drained dry.

      Spot on Jeremy!

  • To Rafael and jeremy:
Scott Olsen served two tours in Iraq. He was critically injured when he attempted to exercise his constitutionally guaranteed right to free speech. Shame on you both for criticizing ordinary citizens like Scott who engage in peaceful protest against a corrupt system.

By the way, jeremy, before you carp about ignorance, you might take a refresher course in grammar and punctuation. And as for you, Rafael, your muddle headed incoherent reactionary rant pretty much speaks for itself.
