THREAT FROM A FORECLOSURE MILL – GET OUT OF THIS HOME NOW!

The letter attached to this email is another example of heavy handed thug tactics being employed by perhaps the biggest foreclosure thug in the nation, David Stern.

There, I said it. And so have many others across the country.   I suspect that even a few foreclosure judges would take exception to the conduct of the foreclosure mills, especially David Stern.

The letter attached to this post and sent by David Stern’s office really disturbs me because it contains a not too subtle threat, that would certainly cause fear, anxiety and unrest in the minds of the Unknown Occupants and the homeowner’s living in any home that would receive the letter. Two highlights from the letter:

The property you are living in is about to be foreclosed. We expect the property will be transferred in 60-90 days.

YOU MUST REPLY TO THE HUD FIELD OFFICE WITHIN 20 DAYS OF THIS LETTER OR YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO MOVE BEFORE HUD BECOMES THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY

I find these statements, false, misleading and threatening. But another example of the thug mentality and practices that have infected what was once a civil society based on principles of laws and justice.

    Is that in compliance with Obama’s May 21, 2009 law, ” Protecting Tenants At Foreclosure Act of 2009″?

    On a side note, as of today, June 1, 2010; Stern’s office continues to show 100% non-compliance with the FL Supreme Court verification rule.

    This is a letter that is being sent out, verbatim, to homeowners here in Georgia as well… by another foreclosure mill, McCalla Raymer.

    These scumbag attorneys who own and or work for these “mills” ought to be ashamed of themselves and probably disbarred!

    nice use of the word “probably” in the letter.
    I’d write the two words ‘Probably not’ on the letter and send it back
