Theoretically at least, we still live in a country where citizens can speak out and provide feedback and criticisms of their government. In a variety of very specific ways, this basic right is being challenged. Our legislators are grossly out of touch with the voters. Our courts are grossly underfunded and increasingly unable to protect the rights of the people. The foreclosure Rocket Docket is a timely and dramatic conflict with the constitution, which in the State of Florida requires that voter’s disputes be decided by judges that are subject to the will of the people.
