There is an evil and stink that permeates from the top of this nation and courses its way down through, in between and among the ranks of every corrupt politician, regulator and executive who sit in board rooms and executive suites all across the country.
While Americans who are the real victims of toxic and fraudulent mortgages are still being thrown into the streets, the executives that pawned these mortgages are using their mortgage payments to pay their attorneys and fines.
The only real question is why there is not more outrage at what is happening in this country. We have all become to fat, dumb, lazy and drugged up. We are a nation of incompetent, incoherent zombie who lack any sort of initiative, motivation or inspiration. And we’re all paying a tremendous price for all of that.
Shame on every single one of you that have children or grandchildren and who are not screaming in protest and sending out emails and sharing Facebook stories, and writing elected leaders.
Shame on every single one of you that sit in front of your televisions watching football or Dancing With The Stars.
Shame on every single one of you that read stories of the crime and the fraud and the deceit but do nothing.
You will all have lots of time to think about what you have not done. In the years to come we will all live in profound poverty and suffering, the likes of which we can all scarcely imagine. Forget the images of the Great Depression. Those show poverty and suffering, but they do not show the violent suppression and anarchy that is coming soon to a neighborhood near you.
Perhaps you’re all right, there is nothing we can do about it so we might as well enjoy the good life while we can. But I can’t enjoy it now. I won’t enjoy it now. I worry most about what is just over the horizon. And it’s not at all a pretty sight. But enjoy the by product of a nation of dis-engaged and uninvolved citizens who gorge and sleep and lay prone while everything they hold dear is plucked from their outstretched hands…..
This has been happening for decades Matt, ever since LBJ had JFK murdered and likely RFK as well. We have a deathbed confession from E. Howard Hunt and his photo as one of the infamous hobos that day supporting it. Hunt said LBJ was the ringleader of the assassination. LBJ was a filthy sociopath who had many people murdered, yet Americans went along with the coup and did nothing effective to deal with the reality of it whatsoever.
So it’s really Americans fault for not doing anything about this corruption that’s been only getting worse. Television is something that distracts from reality and programs the American mindset.
I believe there are many people, including myself, that have tried, with a little success, to help, to protest, to do SOMETHING, but unfortunately when we protest they put us on IGNOR with a push of a button and your complaint is eliminated. I have the Center For Homeowner Support trying to help people through their foreclosure problems. I am a realtor, so I only make money with short sales, the rest of the help is free of charge. I am finding the banks and the powers that be are getting wise to our complaints and now they just PRETEND to help. For instance in the Consent Order that was signed in April that states, among other things, say the banks are to have a single point of contact. Well, I got a single point of contact the other day from B of A, she said, “just a minute, I have a script I have to read from”. Needless to say, she was of NO HELP. The single point of contact before sent me an email saying the short sale was denied and promptly pushed a button and I was gone.
I could go on and on anywhere from the banks, Fannie and Freddie all the way to the Attorney General’s office in Utah. I get discouraged and decide to give up then I get at call or email from someone I was able to help and I get back up, brush myself off and start all over again (I think that is a song). Those of us who understand, try and still have hair left should really ban together, no matter what State we are from. If someone decides to form a group or think tank, put me on the list, there is safety in numbers.
