Even in the face of gross irregularities in the foreclosure process, our courts continue to ignore the rules and the law and grant foreclosure judgments all across this state. Who benefits from this? We’ve got so many vacant and bank owned properties all across this state that it will take years before they’re ever filled. The legislature and policy makers and Office of State Court Administrators and judges are intently focused on granting judgments and throwing people into the street….but does anyone ever stop to ask…..
WHY ARE WE THROWING PEOPLE INTO THE STREET?
I know they didn’t pay their mortgage. I know some folks are not sympathetic people. But the vast majority of defendants in foreclosure are good family people WHO CANNOT FIND JOBS THAT PAY THEIR BILLS.
Policymakers are laboring under the delusion that foreclosures are good for the economy, but no one ever questions how foreclosure benefits when people cannot afford the homes that are out there. Who are we selling these properties to? Who will live in them? Who will pay the taxes and insurance and upkeep on the property when the homeowners are thrown out?
Please read the following post from my friend over at 4ClosureFraud…and keep up the Fight…
Unfortunately, there are a set of individuals who are Happy that there are more Homeless People in the Streets; Happy that there are more empty houses; Happy that Florida can be named the Land of the Homeless. These are the majority of the Judges ““ in Foreclosure law, of course ““ and the State Capital, who has ordered 62% of all families in foreclosure to be out of their houses as fast as the Robo-Courts can so Order, who have a stated goal to throw more people out of their homes because the State Capital refuses to fund the Courts with enough judgeships to handle the foreclosure cases that are flooding the Courts. Instead, the State Capital decided last year to fund ““ for a short session ““ Robo Judges who sit in Robo-Courts with the specific mandate to throw Families out of their homes that represent 62% of the foreclosure cases pending in the State Court system. 4ClosureFraud
