Two weeks ago, I posted a report on my blog about Bank of America breaking down the doors and seizing a home in Brooksville, Florida. Earlier today, I reported another example where BofA seized my client’s home. In today’s St. Petersburg Times, they report on the Brooksville Seizure story. The article can be found here. This phenomena of Banks, and BofA in particular, seizing homes is truly terrifying….it’s nice to know this is getting attention of the mainstream media.

Time to wake up and stop all this. Take minor steps but do something. Understand what they’re doing.
Type in “The Florida Fair Credit and Homeowner Relief Act” for another example of how the Bankers are making a massive power grab to subvert homeowner’s most basic rights.
GMAC did that to me AFTER they knew I was being represented, my property was maintained as well as my belongings were inside. I called them and speaking with a CSR prior. I was ASSURED that they were not going to “re-key” my home. STILL it was done! Couldn’t get the lock off (schlage, the best) Tried with a crowbar, DESTROYED my front steel door. STILL couldn’t get in, so they drilled it out. Put on a cheaper lock! Not sure what was taken as all was boxed. Notified the Largo Keystone Cops. Was told that is not a B&I with property damage, refused to send an officer. to file a report, Without that I am unable to file with my HO ins without the police report…………They are STILL sending people around, taking photos, obtaining info from my son etc
