It should always be noted, and continually reminded that the good judges in Pinellas County sounded the warning alarms about MERS long, long ago and before nearly anyone in the country even knew what MERS was. Judge Logan didn’t like this thing called MERS and so he ordered all the MERS cases dismissed. He was even more right then than he is now…he didn’t like the idea of a party without real interest in the underlying proceedings being able to sue in his courtroom. The problem is that the larger world failed to understand the true dangers that MERS poses, won’t it be terribly ironic if MERS causes even greater harm to this world? I mean, the larger pieces on the chess board ignored the problems caused by MERS at the ground level and they’ve gotten away with it for years. But the damage, while latent, remains and in fact has gotten worse. The foundation of a nation built upon the shifting, shapeless, nameless sands of entities that hide the real interest in property. Parties hiding in the shadows and directing their thug debt collectors to go out and throw our neighbors into the street, disrupting and destroying neighborhoods and entire communities. From US News:
Another patient has turned up at an American hospital with the lethal respiratory virus MERS, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported today. The agency would not identify the man, but said he is a resident of Saudi Arabia, not an American. He was a health care worker in Saudi Arabia, which has been the center of the outbreak, and is now in an Orlando Hospital. MORE HERE
