Bank of America (and all the banks), Camo Washing, Ignoring The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act Putting (military) Lives In Danger

Remember the 49 State Attorney General Sellout?   The landmark deal that confirmed the USA’s slide into fascism?   We’re a fascist state when the institutions of government and especially law enforcement are put into service to serve corporate interests.
The Sellout allowed the banks to walk away from their fraud and crimes and fraud and abuse of the American people, with a big boost from the governments that were supposed to be protecting us from their raping and pillaging and marauding.   Sure you read headlines about payoffs and settlements, but the money is not real, the numbers are pure propaganda.   They get away with it because Amerikans no longer have the courage or backbone to stand up and fight anymore.
The most disgusting example of this phenomena is the bank practice of “Camo Washing”, profiled here in FiredogLake. Specifically in the 49 State AG Sellout the banks were supposed to compensate the soldiers they abused, many times taking their homes and throwing kids into the street when they were being shot at.
The banks got all the positive press for the deal, deluded Amerikans into believing something real was done, that some real penalty had been paid, but that’s just not so.   No relief has been awarded and I   cannot find anyone on the bank side or within any agency of government, including Department of Justice or Military Affairs that has one clue how a soldier illegally foreclosed on is supposed to take advantage of the claim and relief process they claim to have in place.

I currently sit with one soldier who was the victim of this gross abuse, but Bank of America refuses to accept responsibility.   Listen up comrades,

WHEN THE BANKS GET AWAY WITH ABUSING OUR SOLDIERS IN THIS WAY, THERE IS NO HOPE FOR THE REST OF US

The fact that the banks are able to get the positive press for taking responsibility for breaking the law without actually being bound by it is certainly a terrifying phenomena….what’s next.

Listen up Bank of America (and all you others), I will take these cases all the way. All the way. I’m dying for reported appellate decisions on the cases…I will not rest until you have paid your price to my soldiers.
