I think it’s so important that we all carefully examine just exactly what Florida’s elected leaders did during the time they were up in Tallahassee allegedly representing the interests of the voters who sent them up to Tallahassee to work for them.
Our economy is crashing and it’s only going to get worse. With all this going I wanted to take a look back and see what our elected leaders were doing to try and avoid the crash that’s coming all around us. And I’ve got to tell you that I see precious little on the attached list in the way of work product that delivers jobs or relief to the Florida voter.
I see all kinds of laws the benefit the special interests…but I see next to nothing that speaks to the most important interest of all….the interests of you, the Florida Voter.
Have a look and let me know if you see anything on this list that you care about….it really is disturbing to see what’s happening in this state…and how little our elected leaders have done to protect us….
Matt, it is because the Republicans are in control. Since when are they for the people? Where is a single Republican speaking out about the fraud in the foreclosure mess? What is his/her name? There are NONE! Same with Democrats. They are not enacting legislation to protect the citizens because a lot of their election money is coming from big banks. Florida is the hot-bed of foreclosure fraud and you would think if any state would set the pattern for new laws against this evil, our legislature would. But here we are defrauded by judges and our own legislature. Maybe it is because the banks have already taken care of anyone near them and either gave them houses or reduced the principles, even pulling foreclosure complaints. Our legislators and their staffs need investigated.
