I spent the morning listening to Bloomberg and all these talking heads providing blow by blow of the deteriorating banking and fiscal situation in Europe….then when I got home, I stumbled upon this article and quote…
BERLIN (Reuters) – Former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder on Sunday called for the creation of a “United States of Europe,” saying the bloc needed a common government to avoid future economic crises.
This profound economic, political and social crisis we’re heading straight into will be wrenching….God only knows where it will take us, but proposals like the above are only the beginning….(more here)
