Banned books and terror committed by the United States of America. (in your name)

For reasons that had nothing to do with terror, war or criminal behaviour, Nabil was living peacefully in an Algerian guesthouse in Kabul, Afghanistan, on 11 September 2001.

Tragically for Nabil, he has spent the past 11 years as a prisoner at Guantánamo, much of the time in solitary confinement. Starting in February, he participated in a hunger strike, which led to his being force-fed.

    You run a blog about lost freedom and I get a popup advertisement that is sponsored by “Emily’s List” , an entity devoted to denying millions the most basic right , the right to life? Someday you’re going to have to reconcile all the conflicting thoughts bouncing around in your head.
