America, you spoke up. You got involved. You cared enough to participate and stand up for your neighbor, Sanji Mathews.
And now, it seems like we’ve got a positive story to report….it sounds like things between BB & T and Mathews have been worked out!
Many people expressed good feelings toward BB & T and were surprised at this situation, based on generally good experiences with this strong and customer-focused bank.
And so just as important when things go wrong, we need to celebrate, reward and support when banks do things right. Generally, I find that local and regional banks are much more receptive and responsive to their clients and their communities. I think this very, very prompt action is an example of that.
So let’s do this….please think about giving BB &T your banking business. Please thank anyone associated with BB & T and let’s help to raise their profile in the community. If you’re working on loan modifications or other issues with BB & T, please redouble your efforts to work things out rather than overloading our courts. Reach out to branch managers.
