Go Meet Your Attorney General in Person- Tell Him What You Know About Foreclosure Fraud

South Floridians who want to speak to Florida’s attorney general about foreclosure problems, loan modifications or mortgage fraud can do it in person this weekend.

On Saturday in Miami, Attorney General  Bill McCollum will be on hand for a Mortgage Fraud Community Forum. He’s hosting the event with Florida’s Interagency Mortgage Task Force.

The session is on “The Housing Crisis, Who to Trust and Where to Turn.” As Florida’s foreclosure crisis has deepened over the past two years, the Attorney General’s Office has handled hundreds of complaints about mortgage loan modifications and launched dozens of investigations into mortgage fraud since 2009.
