As we all find our way through the uncertainty of COVID-19, there is one group of people who are being as selfless as they can be – first responders. These incredible individuals are putting everyone else’s life before their own and answering the call of their service. For that, we should all be grateful – although certain headlines recently indicate that this isn’t the case! Unfathomable. Anyhow, at WeidnerLaw we wanted to give something back to those first responders who are on the frontlines of this pandemic, so we are offering free wills and power of attorney document preparation services to our EMT’s, firefighters, police, doctors, nurses, healthcare workers or nursing home workers.

We also encourage other businesses and service providers out there who are able, to offer their support to the first responders who are helping to control this pandemic while putting their own health and safety in jeopardy. Whether you’re a restaurant offering free food to feed our overworked and underpaid first responders, a medical company willing to donate supplies to your local hospital, a local spa sending a gift certificate for a massage once the lockdown has been lifted, a flower shop sending a bouquet to the local hospital nurses…there is something that everyone can do to bolster our incredible first responders. We’re all in this together and it’s about time we started acting like it and supporting one another – particularly those who we depend on to make our lives safer.
