Florida and our politics have been the laughingstock of this country for a very long time. The fraud, the backroom deals, the dirty politics and the abject corruption.
One of the few bright spots in Florida’s sad history has been our very broad and expansive public records and public meetings laws. These laws help to ensure that citizens have some way to keep an eye on the elected leaders that are doing the bidding of their corporate handlers.
