Finally, the Final Report on the Foreclosure and (ahem) Economic Recovery Initiative. It will take some time to digest the numbers, but the whole Rocket Docket initiative will forever be one of the darkest chapters in the history of Florida’s court system.

I think these statistics are pretty good. More dismissals than summary judgments, and only 198 trials. These are glaring indications that banks don’t want to prosecute foreclosure cases through trial. Their fear, of course, gives us leverage for favorable resolutions for our clients.
