It’s a truly disturbing commentary about what’s happening in this state…..it really, really is…and we all need to be fearful about the environment that is created here. We are all living in the very dangerous conditions created by lawlessness.
And now it’s all been quantified and now the world knows…..what’s truly disturbing is to read the comments expressed by the readers…things like….
Florida deserves to be number one in this arena, after all we elected the greatest fraudster as the dear leader didn’t we?
It’s time we cut Florida off and let it float away already.
Seriously, just saw Florida off and let it drift and sink.
From 24/7 Wall St.: When times are hard, fraud often gets worse. Americans are under great financial pressure, and there is no shortage of criminals waiting to take advantage of it. According to the most recent report published by the Federal Trade Commission, there were more than 1.8 million complaints of fraud, identity theft or some other deceptive business practices last year. This is up roughly 40 percent from 2010. 24/7 Wall St. examined the 10 states that had the most complaints in proportion to the size of their populations.

If Florida is number One, then New Jersey is tied for First Place or a close Second Place. The only problem 8is that homeowners in N.J. are not willing to fight their foreclosures. So, it is open season for the fraudsterswith the help of the judiciary.

Matt you are correct in your article. Unfortunately, during financial difficulties people will have a tendency to become more fraudulent. Florida is a wonderful state and we have a good people. The good news is that Floridians have a law firms such as your practice and our practice fighting for people’s rights and to defeat corruption.
