Those who are running this state…and frankly this country…don’t seem to have real comprehension about just how bad the consequences for all that we’ve done wrong in this country are going to be.
They just don’t seem to understand how catastrophic this already is…I have a colleague who worked for months to get a foreclosure case resolved…..through a negotiated short sale.
Bank was happy. Former homeowner was happy. Realtors were happy. New buyer was happy….all set to move in this weekend.
Wife had all the new furniture and appliances picked out.
Then the insurance agent called to advise of the $48,000 PER YEAR insurance premium.
And another thing….the maximum payout for flood insurance is $250,000. How does it work that a homeowner who pays a premium of $4,800 can collect $250,000 and the next door neighbor who pays a yearly premium of $48,000 is still only entitled to collect $250,000?
Huh?
But back to the home. The home with the $48,000 a year flood insurance premium!
That home is now WORTHLESS….AN EMPTY SHELL…..
