American Arbitration Association and Credit Card Disputes….

A few years ago, the lenders set up a kangaroo court system where they won in like 96% of the cases.   It was called arbitration and they put mandatory arbitration provisions in most credit card contracts.

A few years ago, states attorney generals recognized how grossly improper and unfair this system was and went after the creditors.   They have since backed out of the AAA provisions.

This is a major problem when they try to sue on outstanding credit cards, because they put a very clear and very strict provision in the contract they drafted, “ALL DISPUTES WILL BE DECIDED BY THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION”
