The State of Florida, Forgery is A-OK, attacking bankster fraud is not.
The newly-released report from the Florida Attorney General’s Office/Office of Inspector General is in, and the results are clear:
FORGERY IS OK IN FLORIDA
(just don’t intend to do it)
I suspect that at some point in time, I will be run out of this state, my home state. I have written far too many posts about the absolute corruption among corporations and government fo them not to come attack me and chase me out of this state. (so too has my friend Mark Stopa) He too will be run out of the state, or worse. How dare two attorneys speak out against a blatantly improper legal practice?
But it’s not just us, you really must get a flavor for the national press that is picking up on the abject corruption that we all live in down here in the swamp called Florida.
What will it take before things are finally so bad that people finally wake up and take a stand? Please read the articles and especially pay attention to the comments from readers:
The usual stereotype of corruption on the US state level is that, depending on the day, Louisiana or Mississippi tops the list. But the cesspool created by the widening foreclosure crisis in Florida puts anything in kudzu-land to shame.
The object lesson is a statement issued by the Florida Office of the Inspector General concerning its decision not to investigate the firing (or more accurately, resignation under duress) of two lawyers in the attorneys general’s office, June Clarkson and Theresa Edwards, who believe they were canned for political reasons, namely, for being too aggressive in investigating foreclosure abuses. Note that these firings came shortly after they received exemplary performance reviews.
and here:
A remarkable report from an Inspector General in Florida not only clears the state Attorney General’s office for the firings of two foreclosure fraud investigators, it accuses bloggers and advocates of dictating and controlling investigations, sometimes for nakedly personal reasons.
Hey Foreclosure Mill….Just Who Are You Representing?
My friend Mark Stopa is questioning the very same thing that I’ve been thinking about in his latest post…
Mark Stopa’s Post on Verification…..A Great Post….
Mark Stopa is a great attorney and I appreciate his guidance on appellate matters. It just so happens that we have two different appeals pending against the banksters who just cannot stand the fact that the Florida Supreme Court wants them to play by the rules, investigate the lawsuits they are filing and treat the court system with some basic respect.
It just so happens that in this area of the state, on the west coast of Florida where I am most familiar, the trial court judges treat these foreclosure cases like every other case, forcing both sides to go through their paces, fight for every single point and issue….AND FOLLOW THE RULES!
Well, the banksters don’t like the rules so they continue to fight, every single step of the way.
I love the way Mark takes their appeal and shoves it right back in their face…in his particular case, the banksters taunted the judge then threw the appeal right back at them…..make sure to read his Answer Brief……

We’ve got so much to talk about…hours and hours would not be enough.
I’m hoping we’ll get into the facts in the Congressional Report and the continuing unfolding of servicer and lender abuses….now admitted before Congress and contained within the attached report.
Any of us who are speaking out and fighting against this machine are doing so at great personal risk to ourselves. I would not continue to do so if I were not absolutely convinced that there are bad, bad days in front of us and that the kinds of problems and issues we’re seeing now were just the tip of the iceberg.
At some point in time, Americans will take to the streets. At some point in time Americans will finally push back and fight. Americans will make bold and dramatic statements against these unchallenged abuses.
WHERE ARE YOU AMERICANS?
Read the report and ask yourself….based on what you see what is the probable outcome of this conflict?
