Fraud, sidestepping and abuses permeate the entire foreclosure process. And oh yeah, inflated and billing and charges for services that were not performed. But none of that matters because it’s foreclosure right? And who cares about homeowners in foreclosure anyway? Well how about all of us because every single American is going to absorb both the larger societal and individual costs of the systemic failures and abuses that are now being exposed all across this country.
Read the attached article that appears in the Tampa Tribune very carefully. Read the admissions and quotes by the lawyers and parties involved in this conduct. Ask yourself, “How many times was all of this repeated across the State of Florida?”, “What is the aggregate total of adding a few hundred dollars here, a few thousand dollars there?” Consider very carefully the cumulative impact of just the conduct these firms are admitting to, the ask yourself, “If this is what they are admitting to what else is out there?”

Remember, we all, every one of us, eventually pay these bills. Not the lenders, not the attorneys, you and me and our kids and Grandkids….every single one of us.
Finally, remember that failed service of process means VOID JUDGMENTS. There are no statutes of limitations on failed service of process claims because if there is not proper service of process, the court never had jurisdiction over the party and the foreclosure judgment has no legal force or effect. Bloomberg: Fannie Mae Suspends David J. Stern
Our federal government, by virtue of being the largest real party in interest in foreclosure cases across this state, is responsible for fostering the environment of fraud and deceit that allowed the Law Offices of David J. Stern to become one of the largest foreclosure mills in this country. Time will only tell just how many Floridians were lied to and cheated out of their homes by the Law Offices of David J. Stern. (Yes, yes, I know they didn’t pay their mortgage, but what do we do when the banks wouldn’t take it fair and square?)
How in the world will we ever untangle the toxic mess of title-related problems caused by the bogus assignments that have been flying out of that Plantation-based Florida operation for years?
How will we ever compensate those who were forcibly removed from their homes under false pretenses?
How will lenders ever be able to continue with the Stern-filed cases that are currently pending?
How will we put a price tag on the costs to us all for Stern’s out of control operation?
Just how high will the corruption and cover up go?
Attached below are just some notable examples of the types of documents that are polluting our public records and title system. It takes no real effort at all to find such examples…they are everywhere. The real question that is presented with examples such as this is what happens to the title to each of the properties that are referenced in the assignments attached? When examining the assignments attached, please note that notary commissions are issued for a four (4) year period in Florida. Please compare the date of alleged execution of the attached document to the date on the notarial seal.
There are still too many people that are in denial and cover up mode. Too many state and federal leaders (most of whom are totally silent on the entire Fraudclosuregate issue) who are absolutely silent on this. Most troubling however is the fact that judges across this state are still signing foreclosure judgments and setting sales for the Law Offices of David J. Stern in spite of all these developments.
There will be a day of reckoning.

BOMBSHELL- FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL ANNOUNCES INVESTIGATION OF THE FORECLOSURE MILLS
Sometimes the screams of attorneys and activists who are protesting the conduct of the foreclosure mills seems like voices screaming in the wilderness. TALLAHASSEE, FL – Attorney General Bill McCollum today announced his office has launched three new investigations into allegations of unfair and deceptive actions by Florida law firms handling foreclosure cases. The Attorney General’s Economic Crimes Division is investigating whether improper documentation may have been created and filed with Florida courts to speed up foreclosure processes, potentially without the knowledge or consent of the homeowners involved.
The new investigations name The Law Offices of Marshall C. Watson, P.A.; Shapiro & Fishman, LLP; and the Law Offices of David J. Stern, P.A. The law firms were hired by loan servicers to begin foreclosure proceedings when consumers were in arrears on their mortgages.
Because many mortgages have been bought and sold by different institutions multiple times, key paperwork involved in the process to obtain foreclosure judgments is often missing. On numerous occasions, allegedly fabricated documents have been presented to the courts in foreclosure actions to obtain final judgments against homeowners. Thousands of final judgments of foreclosure against Florida homeowners may have been the result of the allegedly improper actions of the law firms under investigation.
The Attorney General’s Office is also investigating whether the law firms have created affiliated companies outside the United States where the allegedly false documents are being prepared and then submitted to the law firms for use.
Subpoenas have been served on each of the law firms listed above, and the investigations are ongoing.

Another Day, Another Set of Serious Allegations Against David J. Stern
Things just keep looking darker for the former king of Florida foreclosures, David J. Stern. This comes from the wire at Wall Street Journal…poor David J. Stern…..the following is taken directly from the press release:
